Regular Partner Support Group meetings first Saturday of the month.

(not to be confused with RSL Club in Shaftesbury Street)
- We meet in the RUGBY BAR which is downstairs.
- Normal club "guest" sign-in required (local residents will need to join)
- Meet from 1.30pm for 2.00pm start, 5pm finish
- $10 for non-members; $5 for members
Parking nearby:
- Wilson carpark in John Street behind the Club. $4 daily rate for weekends.
- Council carpark in George Street. Could be up to $15 for 4 hours.
- Westfield - $10 for 4.5 hours (if you stay 5 hours it jumps to $15)
- Street parking is metered till 6pm, possibly $3.60 per hour.
There may be unrestricted parking in Grantham Street and the western ends of both Railway Crescent and Railway Parade, and in other places as you move away from the central business district (if you don't mind a bit of a walk).
Meeting Dates for 2018 - 1st Saturday of every month February to December (no meeting in January):
3rd February; 3rd March; 7th April; 5th May; 2nd June; 7th July; 4th August; 1st September; 6th October; 3rd November; 1st December.

Co-ordinator recognised with Order of Australia Medal in 2014 Australia Day Honours List
The 2014 Australia Day Honours List named Carol Grigg, Co-ordinator of ASPIA, as a recipient of the Order of Australia Medal for 'service to families affected by Asperger Sydnrome'. The nomination in 2013 celebrated the 10th anniversary of ASPIA, the partner support group co-founded by Carol. Carol said she hopes that
the
award
can
help
to
bring
further
credibility
to
the
message
'that
Asperger
Syndrome is
real, it
happens
to
normal
families,
it’s
subtle
but
very
significant
and
affected families
need
acknowledgement
and
appropriate
support'.
ASPIA's 10th Aniversary
Celebration of 10 years of partner support
On Saturday, 1 June 2013, many people associated with ASPIA, both past and present, shared a meal and some wonderful reminiscences. Personal stories of the value of ASPIA support were numerous. The group also heard from Jennifer Bostock-Ling, who reported on the progress of her PhD study on the emotional well-being of women with Asperger partners. The afternoon concluded with the cutting of a stunning 10th anniversary cake, made by a member.
